OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., March 17
/PRNewswire/ -- The Sullivan Group (TSG), a leading provider of risk management solutions for medical professionals, today announces its partnership with EPOWERdoc, developers of the EPOWERdoc paper template and electronic ED documentation systems. In doing so, TSG will provide further expertise in Emergency Medicine Risk and Safety to EPOWERdoc, which TSG considers to be the flagship company in patient templates for documentation of emergency visits.

This partnership represents a completely new concept in emergency medicine risk management and documentation. A comprehensive, system approach has been developed to include web based risk training, a prompted medical record called TSG PowerDoc™, a real time, on-site electronic resource for clinical decision support and an audit for clinician performance measurement.

"The TSG PowerDoc™ system with 'TSG fortified' risk reduction will support CME education, clinical decision making, and documentation." Dr. Daniel Sullivan, founder and chief executive officer of TSG says, "It is clear that by using this intelligent medical record system we are reducing even further the risk of an unfortunate event. The system combines the ease and cost effectiveness of paper templates with a real time, bedside, resource tool for clinical decision support." David Ernst, MD, President of EPOWERdoc states, "We are extremely excited to be working with the premier ED Risk Management company and to be able to present this unprecedented tool for use by ED Physicians. In our opinion, there is nothing else available that combines the intuitive template design for comprehensive documentation with the Risk Fortification and Clinical Prompting to promote safety.
